Stuart is a well-respected entrepreneur and creative, visionary leader, with the time-proven talent to attract, assemble and manage world class Executive Management teams.  Stuart was responsible for the management of Laborie Medical USA in 1992 where he worked with Dr. Blaivas. Laborie is the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of lower urinary tract diagnostic systems and a software company which, under his leadership, obtained 47% market share within the first 4 years. Stuart created marketing strategies and tactical plans in the 90’s for Laborie to dominate the urodynamics market. Today, Laborie controls 80 percent of the worldwide market.  Stuart was also the co-founder and CEO of Avalon Medical traveling non-stop for 7 months across the country meeting new reps/distributors and KOL’s in gynecological surgical medicine. Stuart created the USA’s first largest independent sales force in OB/Gyn to sell a contraceptive implant. Avalon obtained 87% of the surgical contraception market by the 34nd month of its operation. The Company was sold to Cooper Surgical in 2003. Stuart holds multiple medical technology patents. With all of Stuart’s endeavors he maintains that the relationships with the providers and a close working relationship to promote the role and influence of Key Opinion leaders is the fundamental key to success in the launch of any new medical product. Stuart believes in the importance of any new venture being a sales, marketing and new business development driven organization to drive revenues. He does not believe that technology sells itself. Stuart has created several software patents and trademarks for Symptelligence and is maximizing Symptelligence’s IP.

An internationally renowned urologist with over thirty years of clinical experience, Dr. Blaivas is an acclaimed surgeon, academician, educator, writer and editor. He is Clinical Professor of Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College, Adjunct Professor at SUNY Downstate and Attending Surgeon at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Blaivas is the founder of the preeminent journal Neurourology & Urodynamics and was its editor-in-chief for 25 years. He is also the founder and Director of the Institute for Bladder and Prostate Research. Dr. Blaivas was recently honored as one of the four founding fathers of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery was instrumental in the design and commercialization of videourodynamic equipment, which is now commonly employed in urology and urogynecology practices around the world. He has also consulted with large pharmaceutical and medical device companies including: Allergan, Astellas Pharma, Bard, Boston Scientific, Ethicon, Ferring, Laborie, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Merck, Pfizer, and others. Dr. Blaivas is the 2015 recipient of the prestigious Ferdinand C. Valentine Award, presented by the New York Academy of Medicine, for outstanding contributions to urology.

Mr. Sansone offers over 30 years of comprehensive experience in research, design & development, operations, and business consulting. He has provided operations, program, and corporate vision and leadership to large and small organizations in defense, retail, not-for-profit and information technology professional services industries. Effectively coupling his broad business process perspective with an understanding of the dynamics of change leadership, he has succeeded in producing dramatic operational improvements, business redesigns, and cultural transformations to realize significant efficiency improvements and revenue growth.  Mr. Sansone has developed and implemented e-business methodology and readiness assessment toolsets and provided strategy and implementation guidance to new business initiatives within the various business verticals.  Mr. Sansone has developed and deployed the lean-six sigma initiative and personally led initiatives that, for a $250M company, resulted in cost savings and avoidance of $56M.  Over his career, Mr. Sansone has successfully transformed business operations and improved organizational effectiveness in companies in transition from pre-revenue to $1B.  Exemplary is his accomplishments is recognition as a laureate by the 2000 Computerworld Smithsonian Awards Program for “visionary use of information technology to produce positive social, economic, and educational change in a manufacturing environment”.

Mr. Schwartz has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, Enterprise Risk Management, and regulatory compliance.  During the course of Mr. Schwartz’s career, he has built and run multiple successful life sciences and financial services enterprise information practices.  He has over a decade of hands-on experience with healthcare billing systems, point-of-care data collection systems, and information management for healthcare providers as well as clinical trial/study information risk management systems for pharmaceutical and clinical research organizations.  Additionally, Mr. Schwartz has extensive experience in large-scale data operations, SaaS operations, systems and services integration.


Michael CourtemancheChief Archiect
Mr. Courtemanche has over 25 years experience architecting and deploying large-scale distributed applications over a variety of platforms.  Prior to joining the team at Symptelligence, Mr. Courtemanche was responsible for architecting and executing the corporate product development of a SaaS-based regulatory compliance application, which serves the financial, medical and energy markets at Avior Computing.  Holding the positions of Vice President and CTO, he was also responsible for product and COLO operations.  Previous to founding Avior, Mr. Courtemanche was responsible for architecting an application system management platform at Altaworks Corporation, which operated heterogeneously in the J2EE and Microsoft environments.  Mr. Courtemanche has held senior technical positions at Net2Net Corporation, Workstation Solutions, and Wang Laboratories. His disciplines within the distributed computing environments range from Web Services, directory services, and relational database engines.  Mr. Courtemanche is a named inventor on three patents in the fields of performance management and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Shackelford has over 13 years experience leading teams and introducing new medical devices to the surgical marketplace. Focusing on technology based sales and strategic marketing throughout the medical community including capital equipment, system integration, consumable products and regenerative biological devices. Mr. Shackelford holds a BBA in Marketing Information Systems from James Madison University.
